A child deserve to be punish if they had done anything wrong, usually a normal 'traditional' punishment would be sufficient enough to make them realised those mistake, such as spanking, grounding, scolding and etc...
But recent news reported that, a mother of a 12 year old daughter Reshonda Tate Billingsley had a slightly different way of punishing her daughter. The story started when her daughter pose with a bottle of vodka before posting the picture using the instagram app (Photo Sharing App), with the description "i wish i could drink this".
This is originally to humiliate her on those social websites so that she will regret all her mistake. But by humiliating her on social websites?? What was her mother thinking? lets put it this way, everything goes viral if you post something on the internet, plus this will definitely scars the child for life.
Im pretty sure the kid morale is now f*ck up.
It is reported that her daughter is indeed devastated by her mother act, that she is willing to take a spanking from her mother rather than taking the humiliation on social website. Poor kid.
Some might think this is the best punishment, and some might think that that is just cruel.
