Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim-majority country, with 87 percent of its citizens identifying as Muslim. But recent statistic shows that more than 2 million Muslim's converted to Christian every year. If this goes on it will make Indonesia a Christian country by the year 2035.
As reported by the website http://www.mercymissionworld.org/, the reason for the conversion are because of the Christianity elements meets their way of living and they tend to choose Christian over islam because of the lack of information giving out about Islam.
Other than that, the people are confused by the term Islamic and Christian because literally most of them assume that both of these religion are the same, with only slightly little differences.
Having the fear of this issue, a non government organization MercyMission are formed, with a program named 'Save Maryam' they tend to teach the Indonesian people about islamic. Such as, creating a specific TV channel just to teach the youngster about islam overall, and to approach them to live in a more Islamic way.
