A woman who was torched by her boyfriend at a flat unit in Taman Segar, Cheras, Died at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
Chan Yee Mun 23, who sustained 90 percent burns on the body in the 3am attack, succumbed to the injuries about 12.50pm.
Kuala Lumpur CID deputy chief ACP Khairi Ahrasa confirmed the victim's death. A 35 year old suspect, who also sustained burns on the body, has been remanded until Friday to facilitate investigations into the murder.
