Not able to stand the pain of self depression, Amanda Todd, a 10th grader from the Coquitlam School District, commit suicide, after going through constant bullying for years.
On 7th september Amanda Todd posted a video on YouTube with the title 'My story, struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm'.
In this 9 Minutes video, it shows Amanda holding a white cards with black marker writing on it, flipping through and silently tell her story.
In the video she tells her story on how she endures pain of being bullied since she was 12 years old.
When she was in the 7th grade, she likes to go on webcam chat to meet new people.
She received compliments on how 'Stunning, Beautiful, and Perfect' she is. She were asked to flash her boobs online. Which she eventually did after a year later.
Unfortunately, Amanda Todd picture seems to attract a lot of attention and was kept by a boy, the boy then use the picture to blackmail her.
Amanda received a message on Facebook, saying that if she did not put on a show for him, he will sent the picture to everyone. During a christmas break, police come by to her house at 4AM telling that her picture had been sent spread.
She was so depressed and got sick, suffering from anxiety, Major depression, and Panic Disorders.
And because of that, she lost her friends and all the respect their had for her.
Amanda then moves to another city and change her school, wanted to move on and start a new life.
But her bad luck would not ends there, she meet a boy which had a girlfriend, the boy treat her as if he really likes her. When the boy girlfriends is out of town, the boy asked Amanda to come to his house and hooked up.
A week later, she said she received a text message telling her to get out of school and then a group of students, led by the boy's girlfriend, surrounded her at school and said, "Look around, nobody likes you."
"A guy then yelled, 'Just punch her already,' so did," . "She threw me to the ground and punched me several times. Kids filmed it. I was all alone and left on the ground."
Todd said she "wanted to die so bad" when her dad found her in a ditch. She drank bleach when she went home and had to be rushed to the hospital to have her stomach pumped, she said.
"After I got home, all I saw was on Facebook--'She deserved it. Did you wash the mud out of your hair? I hope she's dead,'" she wrote.
Todd moved to another school in another city, but said the torture followed her through Facebook. Students posted photos of ditches and suggested she try another bleach.
"Every day, I think, why am I still here?" she asked towards the end of the video. "I'm stuck. What's left of me now? Nothing stops. I have nobody. I need someone. My name is Amanda Todd."
Authorities were called to a residence in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, just before 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 to investigate the sudden death of Amanda Todd.
